About ideas

How we differ from others.
We really like what we do and we do it with great pleasure. Our art works come into being out of the pure joy of creation.
Each thing is unique because making two identical things is a waste of time for us and a waste of our skills.
We focus on originality, so if you happen to encounter a similar idea, do let us know, since most probably it’s plagiarism, and poor imitations destroy art.
We like challenges and unusual projects very much, and that’s why we most willingly undertake such projects.
We don’t offer promotions, we don’t advertise aggressively, we’re not going to talk you into anything. A conscious choice is the best, and momentary satisfaction isn’t our goal.
You can always return finished items as long as they’re not damaged, and you don’t have to explain to us the reasons.
There are different tastes and different needs, so think well before you buy anything. Each person has their own sensitivity and we’re looking for people whom our things really suit.
Prices will only be going up. Art is also an investment, so we’re going to take care of their regular increase.
Quality, like everything else, needs to be exceptional.
We could write for a long time, but it’s not the point to bore you…

About us

Meet us: who’s behind this.
Jacek Szczotka designs and makes furniture, playgrounds and interiors. The whole studio rests on his shoulders.
He’s the one who got me involved in all this; in personal life, he’s my father and master.
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Industrial Forms, the company’s owner.
Barnaba Szczotka – it’s me… I design and make furniture and interiors. I make websites, I take photos and I’m responsible for multimedia aspects in general.
I answer emails, talk to and take care of contacts with clients and contractors.
I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Interior Architecture.
Wojtek Kuciel – it’s our handyman and logistics specialist.
He’s the one who makes the things we design. In personal life, he’s been my very close friend since school years.

Collaboration

We’re looking for people to collaborate with us.
If you have interesting suggestions or ideas, go ahead and write.
At the moment we’re interested in:

1) Promoting websites.
a) Exchanging links, ideally in the form of articles since it’s the best way for mutual promotion.
Suggest a website.
b) I can write an article which recommends a given website, if I like it of course, and in this case I count on you doing likewise. It’s important for me that the things, ideas and texts for the website are special and unique. Suggest a website.
c) If you have something interesting to show (photos, texts, movies, etc.), but you don’t have your own website, we’ll find room for such articles on our website. Contact us.

2) Artistic collaboration.
a) We’re looking for people with exceptional talents and we’ll be glad to start collaboration.
b) If you have an interesting design/idea and you need our help, write to us. It’s important that you include our works in your ideas, e.g. you’re a director and we’re making the set for you.
We don’t work with ready-make designs. If you’ve designed a piece of furniture, don’t count on our help.

3) Suppliers.
a) We’re looking for interesting materials and technologies. If you’re a supplier, send us you offer (but think first if we’ll be interested, because we don’t like spam in general).
b) We’re looking for trees which are bent, nicely worm-eaten, simply unusual ones.
If you have such trees, describe them or ideally, send us a picture. We’re also interested in unusual kinds which are difficult to get in sawmills, e.g. fruit trees.

4) Work
a) We’re looking for able carpenters from Cracow and from around Czernichów and Liszki, because this is where we’re going to have our new studio (Wołowice). We’d need a casual worker or a regular one.
b) We’re also looking for people to sell our works in Poland and for export. We don’t consign our works, but we offer a commission on each sold item.
